ᓄᓇᕗᑦ ᐅᓪᓗᖓ Happy Nunavut Day

Today we commemorate the day when the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement Act was passed in 1993. We celebrate the rich Inuit culture and heritage and are thankful for our relations and clients across this beautiful territory.

Did you know that Nunavut comprises one fifth of Canada’s landmass? Nunavut (“Our land”) is only accessible by air and sea. This, along with the extreme climate, creates challenges in building design and requires innovative solutions. We work closely with our clients, contractors, and the community to come up with designs that meet northern construction practices and the challenges of working in the arctic.

A couple of recent and upcoming projects include the Navigator - Phase II in Iqaluit (Architect: Harper Architecture & Design) and an 8-Plex in Rankin Inlet (Architect: Livingstone Architecture).
