The Ritz Lutheran Villa LTC is a 68,000 sq. ft. retirement and long-term care residential structure. This 2 storey addition uses a number of structural systems together to create an efficient, safe structure, including wood roof trusses, masonry and timber structural walls, and precast hollowcore floors. The new building adds adds 128 new long-term care units and 50 new retirement units to the Mitchell community. One of the unique challenges of this project was tying into the existing structure, which had a substantial drop to the lower level.
