Lamplighter Inn
Commercial
The 52,000sf three storey hotel was constructed using a precast floor system with load bearing masonry walls. The banquet hall has a steel joist and beam roof with high composite masonry walls. The atrium has tied aluminum rafters supported on a perimeter steel frame. Integrating the new structure with three separate existing structures and coordinating the aluminum rafter system made this project challenging but interesting. Much of the final design of secondary structural items were dealt with during the construction phase. Our office worked closely with the contractor and owner throughout this process.
