Commercial projects require a significant amount of engineering judgement to minimize capital costs but provide necessary performance requirements. We work closely with the design team and developers to ensure that all performance parameters are understood. This is especially important for floor vibration acceptability in office buildings and aerobic activities. This is balanced against additional structural costs.

We discuss with clients possible future uses for their properties to ensure structural allowance is made. This includes future solar panel installations.

On smaller commercial renovation developments, we have acted as prime consultant to aid the client with layout and structural design.
