Intermediate Engineer

Gray & Fick is a modest yet versatile engineering team of professional engineers, technologists, and engineers in training. We are looking to bolster our staff with an Intermediate Engineer who is looking for career advancement opportunities, intriguing work, and professional development. • Run computer model simulation and hand verification on multi-storey structures under the guidance of a seasoned professional engineer

  • Design structures in various building materials such as steel, concrete, timber, and masonry

  • A daily break for a game of table tennis or foosball (if inclined)

  • Attend one of Gray & Fick’s group events such as potlucks, lunch & learns, book club, etc.

  • Participate in one of Gray & Fick’s charity causes such as blood drives, toy drives, food drives, or seasonal in-house charity events

  • Conduct drawing review to ensure conformance to designs and seal drawings as needed

  • Coordinate design activities with other disciplines (architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.)

  • Prepare technical specifications, documents, and reports

  • Occasional site work as required

  • Other duties as assigned/required

  • At the end of the day, it is commonplace for our leadership to send staff members home to ensure work-life balance
