William (Bill) Fick, P.Eng. (ON)
Principal
Bill Fick joined Fred Gray and Associates in 1985 after graduating from the University of Waterloo. He worked along side Fred Gray for six years before becoming a named partner in 1991. Bills leadership and dedication to project excellence resulted in his becoming President of Gray & Fick in 1997.
Bill is one of the visionaries and overall driving forces behind what continues to make Gray & Fick successful. He follows the Fred Gray philosophy to provide efficient and cost-effective structural designs that are well suited for their purpose and match the needs of his clients. Bill's collaborative and practical approach has earned him the respect of his peers and loyalty of his clients.
He is a member of Professional Engineers Ontario and is registered as a Consulting Engineer by the Council of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario. Bill continues to give his time to younger staff as a mentor to help them navigate the industry.
Although Bill has been part of several award-winning design teams as a structural engineer, he remains adamant that some of Gray & Fick’s best and most important work has been our involvement with charitable organizations. Bill makes it his priority to provide all staff members time to pursue charity engagements and works diligently to ensure Gray & Fick does its part to give back.
